Slam tyre

The new spare slam tyre arrived today. Big thanks to the guy at T2D who managed to send me the spare wheel in time for the departure to Bug-in on Thursday.



Nice spanking new black wheel.

That's a slam tyre and a half..... 165/45/15 !!!

Getting ready for Chimay -Belgium-

The van is ready for Thursday.I've cleaned it and the engine is running sweet. I just need to load the camping gear and off we go...

EuropeanBug-in

Next weekend it's the 2nd European Bug-in and I am now so excited...

I am getting ready and tomorrow I will put everything I will need for the week in the van...

Gaz stove

The camping season is here and I needed to have something to cook a full english breakfast on for the morning. I have made a small unit to hold the stove I bought at Vanfest last year. I will do a proper unit later this year.

Optima Yellow Battery

My leisure battery doesn't hold the charge anymore so I decided to buy an Optima battery. A lot of people are saying that they are very good so I will give it a go.

They call it a deep cycle battery. It can be charged and discharged many times. Apparently it's perfect for heavy use.

It's time to make a new speaker board to match the new floor.

Flooring

This is how the interior looked this morning before I decided to do a make over.

The first step was to remove the carpet to put down some MFD sheet to get a flat surface.

Then I have put in position the first piece of flooring

And the rest...

The board went back in place under the seat.

This piece of wood looks a lot nicer than the previous one.

That's it, job done for today. Tomorrow I will cut the holes for the speakers and I will connect the Amp.

Lap Belt

I already have 1 lap Belt in the middle so I used the same bolt for the new belts.



I just had to drill a new one on each side.
